The Summer Academy is designed to foster a comprehensive understanding of radicalization, terrorism, and security and how all of these intersect with the rapidly changing nature of Canadian society. The Summer Academy brings together policy makers and analysts, graduate students and post-doctoral fellows from across Canada to participate in a highly focused learning experience.

Four days of learning – combining presentations from Academic and Policy experts in the field with focused, small group discussions and working sessions.
A fifth day of presentations by TSAS Junior Research Affiliates on their graduate research.
Morning and afternoon snack, and lunch, each day are included in the registration fee.
Registration begins May 8 and ends June 15, 2017 (or when capacity is reached).
On campus Accommodations, which include breakfast, are available for an additional fee should you require them.

The Summer Academy is only a part of TSAS’s larger mandate. TSAS engages in policy-relevant research and knowledge dissemination with regard to terrorism, security and their impact on society. The TSAS Network is designed to foster communication and collaboration between academic researchers working on these topics in Canada, and between the research community and policy officials in these areas.
