Suzzette is a PhD student in Criminology and research assistant with the Center for Terrorism and Security Studies (CTSS) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Prior to entering her doctoral studies she was a researcher and project manager with the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START). She focuses on the influence technology has on criminal and terrorist behavior, and on the future of war. She has a particular interest in how new media is shaping an emerging terrorist support role as well as how social media campaigns can bolster CVE efforts by fostering resilience in local and global communities.
