Fulbright Canada is running a Special Competition for a Visiting Research Chair in Peace and War Studies at Norwich University for Spring 2016. The appointment comes with a $25,000 award, provided most generously by Mr. Fred Weintz, Jr. and family, access to all Norwich University resources such as Smithsonian Museum materials (Norwich is a Smithsonian Affiliate), and the Norwich University Museum archives.
The Special Competition seeks a highly qualified Canadian scholar with expertise in any of the following disciplines: International Relations, Military History, Diplomacy, Military Sociology, Terrorism, Just/Positive Peace, Information or Cyber Warfare. The Chair will directly support Norwich’s academic stature by conducting research, guest lecturing, and supporting the missions of the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies’ Military History, Diplomacy or Information Assurance Programs.
This opportunity corresponds with the newly-formed Peace and War Center, housed in the College of Liberal Arts.
