Mark Irving is a doctoral researcher at the University of Birmingham’s College of Arts and Law Graduate School. Using a case study method, his research is examining the public order/protest policing tactics, strategies and practices that were employed by the various Canadian police services during the 2010 G20 Summit in Toronto.
